The Asher Tribe, part of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas, endeavors to disciple believers into Christian leaders fulfilling the “Great Commission” as stated in Mark 16:15. Our primary purpose is to win the lost to Jesus Christ through the sharing of His Word to any and all who will hear. We believe that active evangelism is the only way that Christians can take their streets and neighborhoods for the Lord Jesus.
At Cornerstone, the cell group is very similar to a biological cell. Followers of Jesus Christ edify one another and increase the kingdom by sharing their lives with believers and unbelievers. New leaders are raised up from within the group (with the support and training by their cell leader and the Government of 12 staff) to grow and expand the ministry.
